Operation: Fix Cazenovia Street.
What began as a discussion at a block club meeting about a neglected Cazenovia Street, turned into results when pictures were taken and put on the internet. A year later and with the work of Councilman Mickey Kearns & the City of Buffalo, Cazenovia Street (From Seneca to the bridge) was recontructed with a repave and brand new sidewalks.
"When you have a nice looking neighborhood, you feel better about living in the neighborhood."
Cynthia Klukowski, Block Club vice President said in a Channel 2 interview.

Cazenovia Street Block Club 3rd Annual Spring Clean Up (2007)
As part of the Nationwide Great American Clean up, which runs from March through May, the Cazenovia Street Area Block Club held its 3rd annual Spring Clean Up.
"Every year the clean up gets a little bigger. It's our way of doing our part and help the city look a little nicer at the same time." Said Cynthia Klukowski, block club vice president.
Volunteers met at 10 am on April 21st at Grace Church 174 Cazenovia for distribution of garbage bags, seeds and recycling information. The cleanup is a quick pick up along Cazenovia Street from Seneca to Abbott.
"The Cazenovia Street Area Block Club believes in maintaining a prosperous and flourishing neighborhood. Last year was a lot of fun and was a great volunteer event for South Buffalo." John Klukowski, block club president said.

Cazenovia Street "Spring Clean 2006"
Residents join for a "Spring Clean 2006" in South Buffalo.Residents from the Cazenovia Street Area Block Club had a perfect day last year to participate in a Spring Clean Up Day. The Spring Clean 2006 event includes raking, bagging leaves and debris, boxing sticks and tree limbs, sweeping and picking up rubbish along the city street.For the second year in a row, John S. Klukowski Sr., President of the block club brought on the initiative and organized the day with block club members. Volunteers of all ages joined the event, which fell on 36th. Anniversary of Earth Day.

Cazenovia Street Clean Up Day 2005
Weather Cooperates for a "Spring Clean Up Day" in South Buffalo.More than a dozen and a half residents from the Cazenovia Street Area Block Club had a perfect day to participate in a Spring Clean Up Day. April 16th's Clean Up Day event included raking lawns, bagging leaves and debris, boxing sticks and tree limbs, sweeping and picking up rubbish along the city street.John S. Klukowski Sr., President of the block club brought on the initiative and organized the day with block club members. Volunteers of all ages collected more than twenty bags of garbage and leaves, as well as several boxes of sticks. Jason Shell from Legislator Kennedy's office stopped by to give a helping hand during the 2-hour event.
